The challenge

Galtona builds custom cutting tools in Tamworth — milling, turning, drilling, grooving, reaming. Specs lived as PDFs. The public site had to be the catalogue, and the place a buyer asks for a quote or a spec sheet, in the languages those buyers use.

What we shipped

www.galtona.com is a database-backed site. Product pages hold the specs. Quote requests, spec-sheet downloads, and contact messages are stored and emailed to Galtona. The same pages run in English, German, Danish, and Spanish. The catalogue lives in the database, not only in the codebase.

Outcome

The public site is on Galtona's own domain. A buyer can open a product and send a quote or spec request from the page. The inquiry reaches the company.

The live site is galtona.com. Its footer says “Powered by AKAF” and links to our web applications page. This page is the other direction of that link.
